Trevi’s Friends

Trevi not only has a dedicated and hard-working staff team, but also has a growing number of people and organisations whose kindness, friendship and expertise enable us to deliver an extremely varied, engaging and effective programme of care.

Nomony children’s centre

Nomony have been hugely supportive to all at Trevi, providing expert and varied parenting support both on their own site and also by running a Webster-Stratton parenting course at Trevi. We owe much of our success to their continuing support.

Plymouth Early Years Inclusion Service

Representatives from this service provide a constant support to us enabling us to ensure we always operate safely, effectively and innovatively.

Freedom surgery

Since its inception in 1993 Trevi has been supported by Dr Hugh Campbell and his staff at Freedom surgery. His willingness to take on the formidable responsibility of providng health care support to all our residents and their children as well as being our community prescriber is something we could not have coped without.

SEEDS

Kerry Whincup’s presence at Trevi is crucial inĀ helping us deliver a programme which responds to the crucial problems encountered by many of our residents. She delivers on a weekly basis a rolling programme focussing on supporting women who have been victims of domestic abuse.

Sexpressions UK

Sexpression:UK educates young people in sex and relationship issues and aims to empower them to make informed choices about their reproductive health. Healthcare students deliver interactive sessions to groups, creating a relaxed environment to learn about sexual health and broach sensitive topics.

Sexpression:UK is an independent student initiative, not affiliated to any religious or political cause.

Sexpression:UK visit Trevi once a month and facilitate an interactive session. We are very grateful for their continuing support.

John Pollex

John is a well known local potter with a deep interest in Buddhism. He delivers Mindfulness sessions at Trevi every Friday morning and is a valuable and valued part of our operations.

Hamoaze House

Hamoaze House is a day service in Plymouth which offers support to people attempting to address drug and alcohol misuse issues whilst living in the community. They are great friend of Trevi’s, offering use of their gym twice a week and being a constant source of support and understanding to residents returning to the community.

We must also thanks Rachel, our health visitor Lindsey our BBV nurse and our tireless board of trustees, many of whom are more than willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in, to help if needed.

THANK-YOU to all our friends and we’re really sorry if we forgot to thank you personally.
